Covid19 Update – Payment Assistance (Hydro Residential Clients ONLY)


Dear Clients,

To assist our hydro sub-metering residential clients during these unprecedented times, ND Energy Inc. with the guidance of the OEB (Ontario Energy Board) is now providing payment assistance through the COVID ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CEAP).

The CEAP “is a specific, time-limited program to provide a one-time, on-bill credit to electricity and natural gas consumers who have experienced hardships as result of the COVID-19 pandemic”.

Please follow the link (English, French) to apply for the CEAP.  Clients must meet certain OEB eligibility requirements to receive the CEAP.  These criteria will be found on the CEAP application.  Should you have any questions regarding the eligibility, ND Energy Inc. will direct them to the OEB.

ND Energy Inc. will continue to follow the directions of the Ontario Government and the OEB as it relates to disconnection and late fee charges.  The Winter disconnection ban is still in effect until August 31st, 2020. We are also resuming late fees starting September 1st.
